  • Breeann Rodriguez disappeared Saturday while riding her bike in the Missouri Bootheel.
Update: Shawn Morgan, a neighbor, has been charged with strangling Breeann.

Update 2: Morgan tells investigators he suffocated child with trash bag. "It felt like it took an hour for girl to die."

The St. Louis division of the FBI has joined the effort to locate three-year-old Breeann Rodriguez.

Breeann was last seen Saturday, riding her bicycle in her hometown of Senath in the Missouri Bootheel. Yesterday the FBI offered a $25,000 award for information leading to Breeann's return and the successful prosecution of those responsible for her disappearance if she was abducted. The Senath Marshal's Office has also pledged $20,000, making the total reward $45,000.

Investigators are trying to locate a suspicious white cargo van seen in the area in the days prior to Breeann's disappearance. The van had a ladder mounted on the rear and no side windows.

Breean was last seen around noon on August 6. Anyone with information as to her whereabouts is encouraged to call the FBI's command post at 314-791-1205. More details can be found at the website of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
