Posted By on Mon, Apr 2, 2012 at 12:24 PM

The Delmar Loop was not the only part of the city where shots were shots were fired  this weekend. Just around 9:30 p.m. Friday night, an unidentified 20-year-old black man was dropped off at an area hospital with multiple gunshot injuries. Witnesses tell police the victim was shot by two black men in a grey Dodge Magnum. He's in critical condition.

Then shortly after midnight, a 29-year-old black man was shot in the leg, arm and side abdomen while inside an apartment in the 5300 block of South Compton Avenue. The victim told police he knows the suspect, but only by first name. The shooter is described as a black male, 5'8" and 155 pounds with long dreadlocks. The victim is in stable condition at an area hospital.

Both investigations are ongoing.
