Cameron Vennard Identified as Boy Killed by Amtrak Train

Authorities have identified the pedestrian struck and killed by a train in Kirkwood as Cameron Vennard, 14, of Oakland. They also confirmed earlier accounts that he was walking along the tracks with his headphones on, and that the train's crew sounded the whistle in a desperate attempt to warn the boy of the impending collision.
