US Bank on Southwest Robbed this Morning

Police are investigating a robbery at the US Bank in the 5300 block of Southwest Avenue that happened just after 9:30 a.m. this morning. The suspect, a black man in his 20s with noticeable acne, was wearing a blue shirt, khaki pants and a grey baseball hat. He handed a note to the teller indicating that he had a weapon and wanted money, but he never displayed a weapon. Witnesses say he drove off in a grey or silver Chevy sedan with an undisclosed amount of money.

Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-866-372-TIPS.
