A house in the 2100 block of Palantine Court in Fenton exploded and burned just before 5 a.m. this morning. The owner, reportedly a former employee of the Kirkwood Police Department, had put the house on the market and just recently moved out. No one was injured in the blast, but several neighboring houses were damaged.

A quick-thinking neighbor recorded part of the blaze and posted it on Youtube.
