Man Shot in the Groin While Waiting for the Bus Downtown

A 37-year-old man waiting for the bus at Sixth Street and Washington Avenue in Downtown St. Louis at 1 a.m. was approached by a black man in his early 30s. This newcomer had a gun, and demanded the victim's money. The man waiting for the bus took off running, but was shot in the groin. He's now in stable condition at an area hospital.

Police describe the robber as a black man in his early 30s, 5'8'' to 5'10'', about 200 pounds with medium complexion and a star tattooed on his right arm.
