St. Louis homicide detectives are investigating the shooting of a man found dead last Thursday in the 4600 block of Riverview (above).

Police say they received a call around noon on October 11 of "suspicious occupants of an auto" and found the victim -- described as a 31-year-old black male -- inside a white 1989 Cadillac. The deceased had a bullet hole behind his left ear.

As of late last last week police had yet to release the identity of the victim pending notification of kin.
