The NHL lockout may stopped professional hockey in North America, but in the virtual world of EA Sports the game plays on.

The maker of the popular video game NHL 13 is simulating the NHL season online, and so far the St. Louis Blues are off to a less-than-stellar first half. As of Sunday, EA Sports had the Blues at a 4-4-2 record good for tenth place in the Western Conference.

The good news?

Last week the Blues avenged their playoff ouster from last season by beating the Los Angeles Kings 3-2 with a Patrick Berglund goal late in third period.

Below are a few more NHL Week 3 highlights (presented in the fashion of ESPN's Sports Center) courtesy of EA Sports.
