A north St. Louis nightclub became a crime scene over the weekend when two men were shot and badly injured, police say.

The site was the parking lot of Premier Lounge on Martin Luther King Drive near Hodiamont Avenue.

And according to police, the two victims "heard gunshots and then felt pain."

How serious were their injuries?

Police say the two victims, both 30-year-old black males, were sent to the hospital after the shooting, which happened around 1 a.m. Sunday morning.

Officers also recovered a handgun at the scene -- and the investigation is ongoing. At this point, suspects are unknown.
