Homicide No. 58: Sean Jackson, 45, Found Dead in Street With Multiple Gunshot Wounds

The latest homicide victim in the city of St. Louis was found lying in the street yesterday morning at around 8 a.m.

Police identified the shooting victim as Sean Jackson, a 45-year-old man who lived on the 4400 block of Portsmouth Drive in north county.

Police say he suffered gunshot wounds to his shoulder, head and neck.

He was pronounced dead on the scene at the 4400 block of Labadie Avenue in the Greater Ville neighborhood in north St. Louis.

Jackson is the 58th homicide victim in metro St. Louis this year. At this same time last year, there were nearly 70 homicides in 2012.

Police have not released any information about possible suspects.

Incident: Homicide Location: 4400 block of Labadie Date/Times: 7/29/13 @ 07:50 - 08:00 Victim: Sean Jackson, 45-year old black male of the 4400 block of Portsmouth Suspect: Unknown Officers located the victim lying lifeless in the street at the above location. He had suffered gunshot wounds to the shoulder, head and neck. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
