St. Louis wants to unload its wood on you.

City residents can get free firewood gathered from dead or structurally damaged trees at the Lower Muny Opera parking lot in Forest Park starting tomorrow.

You can get your wood after 3 p.m. on weekdays.; it's offered on a first-come-first-served basis.

Questions about your wood? Call the St. Louis forestry division at 613-7200.
