St. Louis County Police officers arrested two brothers when an undercover drug investigation turned violent Tuesday.
Police say Joshua Martin, 28, pulled out a gun and pointed it at detectives trying to arrest him and his brother, Christopher Martin, 23, for selling marijuana outside their home in the 3400 block of Elmhurst Drive in Bel Ridge.

When the detectives tried to put them under arrest for possessing a controlled substance, Joshua Martin pulled out a gun and aimed it at them, according to police.
Detectives shot first, hitting Joshua Martin twice in the arm, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He was treated and released from the hospital. No one else was injured.
The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged Joshua Martin with two counts of first-degree assault on a law-enforcement officer and two counts of armed criminal action.
Christopher Martin faces one count of distributing narcotics and one count of intent to distribute narcotics. He is being held on a $80,000 bond.
