You there —- the one with the can of lighter fluid and the pile of discarded blue and gold apparel! Not so fast.

Sure, a soul-purifying pyre would feel good, now that the guy from the Weekend at Bernie's movies finally got his way and moved the Rams back to LA, which doesn't even want them. You've been dumped by an abusive ex for its indifferen
t former lover; assuredly you would find comfort in the flames. But there's a better way.

The River City Rascals, a Frontier League baseball team based in O'Fallon, Missouri, are offering a trade: Bring your Rams T-shirts and jerseys to T. R. Hughes Ballpark, where the Rascals play, and they'll give you one of their T-shirts, two tickets to a game and entry into a contest to win a season pass. The kicker? The Rascals organization is partnering with local charities to get that Rams gear to the needy. That's even better for your soul than watching a linen embodiment of your former hopes and dreams reduced to a pile of ash.

And in case you need more incentive, consider this: The Rascals logo involves a cool baseball-playing dog named Ruffy. Dogs, as we all know, are the finest of all animals, loyal and true. Rams, fittingly, are assholes. Plus Ruffy kinda looks like Spuds Mackenzie, the Original Party Animal™, so you know he knows how to have a good time.

Office hours for the Rascals are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and the trade deal will be honored through the end of February. More information at the River City Rascals' official website.
