Looking for proof that Jason Kander's challenge to U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (R- Missouri) has drawn the eyes of the nation? How about this: Uncle Joe is coming to town.

The nation's vice president will be in the Loop Friday to stump for his fellow Democrat, the current Missouri Secretary of State, who's mounting a surprisingly competitive campaign to take down the veteran GOP incumbent. The
Real Clear Politics average has Blunt up, but only by one point — which means the race is an actual tossup. And here's what makes that even more important to both sides: Control of the Senate could literally hang in the balance.

Enter Vice President Biden. He'll be at the Pageant at 3:30 p.m. this Friday, October 28, according to the Kander campaign. Doors open at 2 p.m.; entry is free but you will need a ticket. (See this link to get yours.)

If you're a Biden fan, we'd recommend you sign up for tickets now — as well as start laying the groundwork to call in sick Friday afternoon. Come now ... isn't your throat feeling a bit ticklish?
