It is a fact of St. Louis life that we will all be victims of crime. We all have our cars rummaged through. Many of us have our packages stolen. Some of us even have our houses burgled. But to steal our cheese-covered carbohydrates? That is a step too far.

But it's exactly what happened in Lindenwood Park this weekend. St. Louis police report that a 34-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint in the 7000 block of Weil Avenue in the wee hours of Saturday morning for nothing more than his ‘za. The alleged pepperoni perp relieved the man of his pizza around 1:03 a.m. and then entered a nearby apartment complex where, presumably, he stuffed his face with stuffed crust. The Keto diet will really drive some people to madness.

Cops were unable to locate the suspect within the apartment complex and the investigation is ongoing. Somebody call in those pizza-loving heroes in a half shell to help solve this crime. Pie theft will not stand, man.

The suspect is described as a black man in his early to mid-20s, somewhere around 6 feet tall, about 180 pounds, with a dark complexion. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt that is likely now covered in pizza grease.
