250 in 250

Celebrate St. Louis' 250th birthday with the Street Team at the Missouri History Museum on Valentine's Day! How do you tell the story of a city’s first 250 years? Do you talk about its founding? Try to find one theme to explain all of its history? Create a timeline of the biggest events that have taken place? The Missouri History Museum’s 250 in 250 exhibit takes a different course by examining the city’s history through 50 people, 50 places, 50 moments, 50 images, and 50 objects. Reflecting the richness, diversity, and complexity of St. Louis history, the exhibit will spark memories, surprise, and conversation about the place many of us call home. Free admission.
