Friends Sitcom Trivia Night

This is a not-for-profit event where we will be donating all the proceeds to the Kentucky Children’s Hospital Hematology/Oncology Clinic. We are working with DanceBlue in Kentucky (, a student-run organization that supports the Kids (our Friends!) of the clinic. Our event is taking place on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at St. Charles Borromeo David Dyer Memorial Center. Trivia at 7:00 pm, $200 per table, 8 people maximum per table. Friends of the Fort Summer Ball

Suggested donation of $20 a person and all funds raised will go directly to the not-for-profit support organization, Les Amis du Fort de Chartres, which supports improvement projects at Fort de Chartres State Historical Site. Les Amis du Fort de Chartres is hosting the fundraising event "Friends of the Fort Summer Ball". Eighteenth century music and dance calling will be provided by a live band. Period dress encouraged but not required.. Food is allowed to be brought in but alcohol must be purchased at the bar.

Operation Food Search (OFS), a non-profit hunger relief organization, will host the School of Cooking and Sharing’s “Cook, Learn and Share” culinary class event. The monthly program will feature a culinary instructor who will cook a special dish for the audience to enjoy while simultaneously learning about OFS’ direct impact on the community. This month’s program, entitled “Thursday Night Pizza”, will be led by Father Dominic who is also known as The Bread Monk. Fr. Comptroller Darlene Green hosts her semiannual American Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday, August 15, in Room 208 of St. Louis City Hall, 1200 Market St, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The American Red Cross is facing an emergency blood shortage this summer, and it has issued an urgent call for eligible donors.
