Participants learn skills needed to professionally audition and perform for the camera in commercials, television, serial work and film. Participants work on basic acting technique and audition strategies and discuss and gain practical experience in adapting our stage technique to on-camera work. Each day, a selection of advertising copy, monologues and movie scenes on camera are practiced. Participants watch both professional footage and clips from our scene work each day as part of critique sessions. $330.00

The focus of this vocal intensive is to highlight the importance of acting in vocal performance. Participants work to intellectually and emotionally understand the story in the song and connect method-acting technique to vocal production. While technical vocal instruction such as basic sight-reading, diction, breathing and tone production are part of the study, the goal of the intensive is to help participants connect with the audience and song in a more expressive way. $330.00
