Come see and hear the work of fabulous young songwriters (Grades 3-12), performed or studio-recorded by professional musicians Mark Pagano and Moacyr Marchini! In the MusicMaker Springboard to Learning Signature Program, students develop a variety of literacy skills through music creation and song-writing. Springboard and the Sheldon Concert Hall are honoring these MusicMaker elementary, middle and high school students with an on-stage celebration! A reception with refreshments will follow the performance. Admission and parking is free (please park in the Sheldon West Lot and mention MusicMaker to the parking attendant.) Doors open at 6pm. Concordia Seminary, St. Louis invites friends and neighbors in the St. Louis area to gather their lawn chairs, blankets and picnic dinners, and come to campus for beautiful summer June evenings listening to the carillon. The annual Summer Carillon Series will be held at 7 p.m. each Tuesday in June. All recitals are free and open to the public. Guests are invited to enjoy the music from the Main Quadrangle or on the Seminary grounds near Luther Statue. In the event of rain, guests may gather under the archways and tower on campus. Free

Thom Wall World Juggling Day

On June 15th, World Juggling Day, St Louis Public Library's Carpenter Branch will host a rare event patrons won't want to miss. Thom Wall, St Louis native turned Cirque du Soleil juggler, will perform a free show followed by a question and answer session and signing of his new book: Juggling - From Antiquity to the Middle Ages: the forgotten history of throwing and catching. Wall's critically-acclaimed show On the Topic of Juggling has been performed to audiences across the United States and Mexico, including a 16-performance run at the Smithsonian Institution. Free
