Washington University's Lunar New Year Festival

Fri., Feb. 8, 7-10 p.m. and Sat., Feb. 9, 2-5 & 7-10 p.m.

Every year, students at Washington University in St. Louis put on a grand show to celebrate the Lunar New Year. The show includes many colorful performances, from Lion dance to Samulnori, all woven together by a play which tells a story of this year’s theme, “The Strength Within”. With our show we hope give WashU and the St. Louis community a better understanding of Asian culture and give back through our partnership with a philanthropy. Proceeds from our show will benefit Kingdom House, an organization that provides holistic services to help the economically disadvantaged achieve economic independence. $10
