Through April 15
Arts, Museum Exhibits and Events
Taking inspiration from art historian Linda Nochlin’s 1994 influential text of the same name, this exhibition considers how artists of the early 20th century depicted the human body as fragmented to symbolize the destruction and disconnection of modernity. Drawn almost entirely from the Museum’s collection, the installation features exemplary works by Jean Dubuffet, Fernand Léger, and Joan Miró, among others.
The Museum is open Monday, Wednesday–Sunday, 11 am–5 pm.
