Purina presents Dog Day Fridays at Urban Chestnut Brewing Company. This is a pet-friendly event featuring cold Urban Underdog lager and other Urban Chestnut beers, hot food, games, live music and pet-adoption activities on the east lawn at Urban Chestnut's Brewery and Bierhall in The Grove. Twenty percent of beer and food sales from Dog Day Fridays will benefit featured animal organizations. Free to attend. Beer, soft drinks and food available for purchase.

Half of the entry fees go to Missouri Alliance for Animal Legislation - the only non-profit organization lobbying full time on animal welfare issues in Missouri. Proof of canine vaccinations required; children under the age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Nothing beats the heat like the joy of splashing around with your best buddy! $10 per dog and 1 human, $3 per additional human
