Jennifer Colten: Real Estate Row Opening Reception

The Luminary presents a new photographic installation by Jennifer Colten exploring the histories of "Real Estate Row" in Downtown St. Louis alongside the archives of the Sauget, IL based National Building Arts Center. Join us for the project's opening on Saturday, October 26th from 5pm to 7pm with a walking tour by architectural historian Michael Allen.

Take a spine-tingling trip inside the Lemp Mausoleum and see 12 other St. Louis sites with a direct connection to the history of the Lemp family, including their haunted mansion, their magnificent brewing plant, and the house on Hortense Place where Elsa Lemp met a mysterious death. Put on your walking shoes for a tour of artworks installed throughout the Danforth Campus as part of the Art on Campus program, led by Leslie Markle, curator for public art. The 90-minute begins at the Kemper Art Museum and will include a stop at the new Florence Steinberg Weil Sculpture Garden to see the latest Art on Campus commission by Dan Graham.
