40th Annual Firehouse Run began by a small group of runners led by the Baker Family. The event will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2019, begins at 8:00 am and the event includes a 1-mile fun run, a 2.2-mile and 5-mile timed run through the City of Glendale. Run packets available at Glendale City Hall includes t-shirts. The event fee is $25.00 with proceeds benefitting Backstoppers and Responder Rescue. Big River is timing the race and attendees can sign up through www.glendalemo.org or in person at Glendale City Hall through race day. 314-965-3600

The Veterans Day 5K Run/Walk to benefit St. Patrick Center on November 9 includes a timed 5K, one-mile fun-run, FREE Kids’ Dash and many fun-filled activities. This is a family-friendly event to honor our nation’s heroes and raise awareness for veteran homelessness. Last year, St. Patrick Center helped more than 1,100 veterans (20% of our client population) and their families who were experiencing homelessness.
