After last summer’s remarkable salute to the music of Parliament Funkadelic, Lamar Harris returns to the Bistro with this one-time-only performance, flipping the music of the legendary Isley Brothers to express his vast repertoire of talents ranging from singing, trombone, and trumpet. Call it funky, call it jazzy, call it whatever you want, but Harris’s seamless blend of horns, electric sounds and vocals forms an explosive combination that has led him to share the stage with some of the biggest names in the business such as Eric Roberson, Huey Lewis and The News, Musiq Soulchild, Bilal, Rich Medina, ZAPP, Vintage $20-Adults $10-Students
