Kasi Lemmons, the librettist for Fire Shut Up in My Bones, wrote and directed the 1997 film Eve's Bayou starring Samuel L. Jackson. Opera Theatre, in partnership with Cinema St. Louis and the Webster University Film Series, presents a screening of Eve's Bayou on Saturday, January 19, at 6:30 p.m. Immediately following the film, there will be a brief Q&A session with Kasi. Tickets to the event are $5. Webster University students may each reserve one complimentary ticket using the link below but will be required to present a valid student ID in order to pick up their ticket. $5
