Formed in 2013, the Perseid String Quartet is dedicated to performing chamber music to the highest possible artistic standards and to creating enjoyable concert experiences in the St. Louis area. The Perseids have appeared at multiple venues including the Sheldon Concert Hall, the 560 Music Center, Washington University, and the Kemper Art Museum. The ensemble is comprised of violinists Hannah Frey and Manuela Kaymakanova, violist Eliana Haig, and cellist Stephanie Hunt. Free

The program includes Haydn’s Concerto for Two Horns and Schubert’s Auf dem Strom (On the Stream). This concert also includes music commemorating the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Tricia Jöstlein is Adjunct Professor of Horn at Webster University and plays as an extra with the St. Louis Symphony. Thomas Jöstlein has been Associate Principal Horn with the St. Louis Symphony since 2010 and is known for his performances on the Alphorn. Free
