This golf tournament is the main fundraiser supporting GHA activities. The money raised at this tournament will be used to fund the programs and services throughout the year to people affected by bleeding disorders. The Lung Cancer Research Foundation’s St. Louis Free to Breathe Walk will take place on September 29, 2018. The event will include a walk around Creve Coeur Lake, starting Tremayne Shelter. Proceeds from the events benefit the Lung Cancer Research Foundation and its mission to improve lung cancer outcomes by funding research for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of lung cancer. Event Day Registration & Festivities Begin: 9:00 am Rally: 10:00 am Walk Begins: 10:30 am Closing Rally: 11:30 am There is no registration fee for the event; All participants who raise $100 will earn an official event t-shirt.

Join Great Rivers Greenway, the City of Maryland Heights and Saint Louis County Parks to celebrate the opening of the newest segment of the Fee Fee Greenway on Oct. 5. The new 2.2-mile segment creates a seamless link between Creve Coeur Park and the Maryland Heights Community Center and also links residents to the Creve Coeur Connector Trail, Katy Trail and Centennial Greenway, creating nearly 16 continuous miles of paved routes. Festivities get underway at the new trailhead in Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park at 11 a.m.. The celebration will feature a ribbon-cutting, yard games, music, bring-your-own-picnic-lunch and more.
