Art of Wine attendees are treated to wine and appetizers and have an opportunity to purchase original photographs and paintings created by adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in non-profit Willows Way's Mentor Arts program and photography club. The artists receive 100% of the proceeds from the sale of their art. This year, the event will feature original works from six photographers and five painters. $45 per ticket

The goal of National Novel Writing Month is to write a 50,000-word novel during the month of November. Amanda comes ready with a full rucksack of strategies and maneuvers for getting on, keeping up, and just writing the darn thing already.
