Set up like a Chipotle or other fast-casual restaurant, Global Quesadilla Company's menu consists of quesadillas and wraps with, surprisingly, mozzarella as the base cheese. Standouts include the St. Louis - parmesan-tomato sauce on a tomato-basil tortilla with Italian sausage, pepperoni,, and Provel and mozzarella cheeses. Many options are named for cities or regions, such as the Thai peanut, which includes grilled chicken, red and green peppers, green onions and shredded carrots. Salad versions of the quesadillas and wraps are also available, as are a variety of "'chos," a.k.a. nachos.
True to its chilly blue decor, the Ice Kitchen strives for a polar level of cool. Physically, this bar may be located in the heart of Westport, but the black-clad, uber chic patrons might make you feel like you're stuck in the Matrix. The menu consists of small and large plate "continental fusion" cuisine, including Peruvian, Asian and Greek-inspired tapas, and the bar boasts the largest martini and vodka catalog in St. Louis, with over 100 vodkas to choose from. By night, this young urban professional scene becomes a raging hip-hop and R&B dance party fueled by live DJ sets.
Directly across from the action of the casino floor, the Kitchen provides an easy rest stop from the gambling scene. The Kitchen serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. As is customary at casinos, the Kitchen boasts a massive dining room, however, unlike other casino buffets, the literal "kitchen" can be viewed from the center of the restaurant behind glass. The Kitchen's various stations provide meals to suit any taste day or night.
