Wedged into the corner of a west-county strip mall, Mi Lupita offers Mexican and Tex-Mex fare likely to appeal to both the margarita-and-combination-platter set and those who seek more authentic Mexican flavors. The former will have trouble choosing among the many variations of the entrée-rice-beans trifecta (enchiladas are a good bet); the latter should look to the dishes featuring nopales and huevos. Soft tacos filled with pork as well as lettuce, tomato and shredded cheese strike a tasty medium between the two factions. Lunch specials, which include a soft drink, are a tremendous value.
