New Year's Punk Show

What better way to begin your new year than with the year's first local punk music showcase put on by Jackie Green? Bands scheduled to appear play skate- or street-punk, indie-folk, alternative funk, ska and even that emo stuff all the kids are talking about (or were talking about — who can tell with the kids these days?), so there's surely something up everyone's alley (or at least a nostalgia trip for dyed-pink hair, wallet-chain-wearing teenagers of days past). The best part is the start time: mid-afternoon, right after you wake up from your New Year's Eve for a lovely dose of the hair of the dog that bit you.
