McGurk's

Running a pub is more than just making sure you have Guinness Stout on tap. It's about taking customers out of their workday lives for a while and putting them into another time and space where they can set their cares aside, sip on a pint, and simply have a good time. McGurk's has been doing just that since it was established back in 1978. With its fine selection of stouts and ales, great food (including corned beef & cabbage and Irish stew, naturally) and the best traditional Irish music, it's enough to make you think you're not in Soulard, but rather in a rollicking Irish public house back on the old sod. It's a perennial favorite, sure, but it really is that good.
