Hare Today...

With Easter fast approaching, theatergoers can get a jump on rabbit season with the Theatre Guild of Webster Groves' production of Harvey, which is about Elwood, a good-natured fellow whose best pal is an imaginary six-and-a-half-foot-tall rabbit (a.k.a. the play's namesake). This story is perhaps best remembered for the 1950 film adaptation starring Jimmy Stewart, and now, you can check out the Guild's spin on the timeless tale — and find out if poor Elwood really is crazy. Harvey is performed at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and at 2 p.m. on Sunday (February 29 through March 9) at 517 Theatre Lane in Webster Groves. Tickets are $15, or $12 for seniors and students. Thursdays-Sundays. Starts: Feb. 29. Continues through March 9, 2008
