Cool Weather Plus Art...

It must be artumn

You'll likely spend a large part of this weekend putting together the perfect Halloween costume. As the best outfits come from within (instead of from the rack, between the fairy wings and the pirate patches), you might need a bit of inspiration. So check out the fifth annual ARTstravaganza! at the St. Louis Artists' Guild (2 Oak Knoll Park, Clayton). The moonlight reception is from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, October 27, and it features Native American flute music and a wine-tasting from Peaceful Bend Vineyard, plus a variety of work by the juried members of the Best of Missouri Hands, all of whom are recognized as masters in their media. Art, moonlight and wine...what more could your inner muse request? ARTstravaganza! continues from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday (October 28 and 29) with a daily silent auction of artwork that benefits the Carney's Kids Foundation. Admission and parking are free. For more information call 314-727-9599 or visit www.stlouisartistsguild.org.
