Don't Just Sing It

Wing it!

How many chicken wings do you think Donna Summer could eat? Ten? Twenty-seven? Fifty? The world may never know. But tonight we might learn how many wings a Donna Summer impersonator is able to put away — along with the dining prowess of a Marvin Gaye mimic and an Aretha Franklin look-alike. And all in an airplane hangar! Sound like a dream come true to you, too? Then head over to the St. Louis Regional Airport (8 Terminal Drive, East Alton, Illinois) for Hospice of Southern Illinois' "One Heavenly Evening: Wing and Sing," a casual affair featuring a concert by the aforementioned impersonators, chicken wings and other belly-fillers, drinks, and fireworks at the end of the night! All this winging and singing costs $25 to $50 for individuals (you may also purchase a table), and proceeds benefit the organization's efforts to build a hospice home. For more information about the fundraiser, which runs from 6 to 10:15 p.m., call 618-235-1703 or visit www.hospice.org.
