Home of US Fidelis Founder Darain Atkinson on the Market for $14.9 Million

The 40,000-square-foot manse belonging to Darain Atkinson, founder of the bankrupt US Fidelis, was listed last week for $14.9 million.

The Missouri attorney general and attorneys general in eleven other states are looking into allegations that Atkinson and his brother, Cory Atkinson, illegally profited off their failed auto-warranty business.

Daily RFT just got off the phone with a Coldwell Banker Gundaker agent who is representing the home. The agent tells us that the mansion boasts an eight-car garage, nine bathrooms, five bedrooms, a bowling alley, pool and hot tub. The house sits on 6.7 acres on Lake Saint Louis.

"It's absolutely incredible," says the agent. "It's one of those places you can't even describe, you just have to see it."

So, how can one see it?

"I'm not sure. I think we'd have to do a little background check on potential buyers," the agent tells us. "We can't show this to someone who can only afford a $100,000 house."
