St. Louis Exotic Car Dealer Busted for Going 150 m.p.h. in Lamborghini, Putting Videos on YouTube

Note: Read an interview with the Chesterfield prosecutor here.

Okay, folks. One more time. When you're breaking the law, don't videotape yourself doing it and then upload the clips to YouTube.

Why? 'Cause it always comes back to bite you in the ass.

As a local auto dealer recently discovered, this rule applies even if -- like James Bond -- you have an exotic English accent and drive a cream-in-your-pants performance vehicle.

Fox 2 (KTVI) broke the story this week. Videos on YouTube show a salesman at St. Louis Motorsports in Chesterfield test driving Lamborghinis, Ferraris and other exotic cars. In some of the clips, the dealer is shown behind the wheel hitting speeds reaching near 150 m.p.h. on Highway 40.

On Tuesday the Chesterfield police got wind of the YouTube clips and waltzed down to the dealership to arrest the car dealer. The dealership's owner, tells Fox 2 that he had no idea his salesman was breaking the law when making the videos.

P.S. Daily RFT scoured YouTube and the internetz today looking for the original videos of this. Anyone out there have the clips they'd like to share? Leave a link to them in the comment section below.
