After all, this is a new year with a new quarterback (some kid named Bradford who is supposed to be kind of good) and a bunch of promising young players that might miraculously reverse the franchise's fortunes after three seasons of almost unparalleled suckitude.
But c'mon, let's be realistic -- this is the Rams we're talking about. They're probably going suck again.
Either way, you'll be able to see for yourself. The Rams announced today that they sold enough tickets to Sunday's season opener to avoid a TV blackout.
Kickoff is at 3:15 p.m. and the game airs on KTVI (Channel 2). Tickets to the game are still available.

The Rams have lost 14 straight NFC West games, 10 straight divisional home games and 42 of their past 48 games. Meanwhile, the Cardinals lost their Hall of Fame QB to "Dancing With the Stars" and had to replace him with someone who threw 3 touchdowns and 10 interceptions last season and had a 42 QB rating. Ladies and gentlemen, the NFC West!!!!!!!!!The oddsmakers have the Rams as four point underdogs. Simmons picked the Cardinals, which probably means the Rams are going to pull out the victory just to prove him (and me) wrong.
