St. Louis boxing phenom Devon Alexander shined Saturday night in his HBO debut. The 23-year-old knocked out Columbian Juan Urango in the eighth round to unify two junior welterweight titles.

Now Alexander's promoter says his next fight could be in St. Louis against Zab Judah -- the boxer who in 2005 stole the welterweight title from Cory Spinks before some 20,000 fans at Scottrade Center.

"We're going back to St. Louis with this young man. He's not a star, he's a superstar," said Don King following the fight.

So how good is Alexander as a fighter? This from ESPN:

What is there not to like about Alexander?

Now he's got two belts and all the talent in the world to go with his speed, skills and a shining smile, not to mention a made-for-TV back story. Of the 30 kids who boxed in trainer Kevin Cunningham's gym in a gang- and drug-infested area of St. Louis, at least eight are dead and at least 10 more served prison time or remain incarcerated.
