Too many happy endings, it seems, can lead to a sad one: Two women working at a Des Peres massage parlor called Rong Hua D-Stress were d-tained and charged Wednesday with a "miscellaneous sex violation," i.e., prostitution.

Warning: This post contains penis-grabbing.

Before you get all switched on, baby, realize that the arrestees aren't exactly spring chickens:  Jufang Long is 62, and Cuizhen Wu is 40. Both have the same listed address in the 15400 block of Duxberry Way Walk in Chesterfield (and yes, they're authorized to be here, xenophobes).

It all started, according to Patch, when Des Peres police got an anonymous letter. In this letter, a customer complained of going to the parlor there at 11730 Manchester Road to get relief from lower back pain, but instead got "inappropriate contact."

An undercover detective then went in and, after a massage from Long, reported "a prostitution." (Let's hope the detective enjoyed it.) Officers entered the building and witnessed Wu "touching a man's penis."

The business license for the joint has been revoked. Jing Yong, owner of Rong Hua D-Stress, apparently told the coppers that he'd had his ladies sign a contract promising not to give sexual favors for money. This contract was written in Chinese, though. So for the time being, it's inscrutable.

Yong has learned a lesson in all this. In Des Peres, there are two ways to run a business: The right way, and the Rong Hua.
