The Post-Dispatch today concludes a story first reported here at Daily RFT.

Marcia Jackson, a former employee of the Show-Me Institute, was sentenced today to seven years in prison for embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from financier Rex Sinquefield's conservative think tank.

In November Jackson pleaded guilty to stealing more than $25,000 and 24 separate counts of fraudulent use of a credit device.

All told, it's believed Jackson embezzled more than $650,000 from the agency over the course of three years, using the money for personal travel, jewelry, furniture and home repairs.
