State Senator Brian Nieves has come up with a new way to express his unconditional love of guns. Nieves, a proud backer of "the most Hard Core 2nd Amendment Bill" -- which Missouri Republicans will try and pass tomorrow -- is now advertising a gun-themed fundraiser that includes some sort of assault rifle raffle and an opportunity to be a "Sniper Level Sponsor."
Nieves, who represents parts of Franklin and St. Louis counties, does not shy away from controversial and potentially offensive Facebook posts and is this week emphasizing his appreciation of firearms with some bizarre offers.

There are evidently all sorts of different sponsorship options, including the "$1,500 Sniper Level Sponsor," which gets folks: "Four Shooter Packages, Six Station Sponsorships and SIX of only Fifty Chances ($100 each) at the Sig Sauer 516 PatrolAR15! (Sniper Package is a $1,900 Value!"

Nieves, in his typical fashion, doesn't know why everyone is so OBSESSED with him:
The state senator has been a (literally) very loud proponent of gun rights and is currently most concerned about the "people who don't believe in hunting" trying to "figuratively mount [his] head on their wall."
His latest rant relates to House Bill 436 (the Second Amendment Preservation Act, which you can read about it in our earlier coverage here):
Nieves did not respond to a request for comment from Daily RFT yesterday.
