Will Albert Pujols and Ryan Franklin still be able to deliver "firepower" despite MLB's new ban on guns?
Case in point: Yesterday relief pitcher Ryan Franklin expressed his disappointment in a new MLB policy that bans players from bringing guns into stadium locker rooms.
"There are a few guys that screwed it up for everybody," Franklin griped to the Post-Dispatch. "If it wasn't for the NFL guy a couple years ago bringing a weapon into a nightclub ... you've just got to be smart."
Franklin grew up hunting and fishing in his home state of Arkansas. He currently resides on a 500-acre spread in Oklahoma where, according to the Post-Dispatch, he enjoys shooting animals.
