Dannie Williams: St. Louis Homicide No. 97; Gunned Down This Morning in North City

University City resident Dannie Williams was in far north St. Louis early this morning when he was gunned down in the back.



St. Louis police responded to a call of "shots fired" around 1:05 a.m. this morning to discover 47-year-old Williams lying dead in a backyard in the 8500 block of Drury Lane, just north of Calvary Cemetery. He'd been shot multiple times in the back.

An investigation is ongoing. Williams lived in the 7000 block of Dover in U. City.
