Are you a fashion designer with big dreams? ALIVE Magazine might have a spot for your creations at St. Louis Fashion Week.

The magazine is looking for an exclusive group of elite, emerging designers to fill this year's event, which will show at St. Louis' revitalized Union Station for the first time.

The lucky chosen designers will share a program with Rebecca Minkoff, recently named designer of the year by the American Apparel & Footwear Association. They'll also share the runway with Viktor Luna, who won third place in the same Project Runway season as St. Louis' own Laura Kathleen Planck.

Planck herself showed at St. Louis Fashion Week in 2009, two years before her stint on Lifetime (and return on Project Runway: All Stars) earned her instant fame.

"I realized I had an opportunity, in my hometown, to participate in my first fashion show when I graduated college," Planck says to ALIVE. "I am so thankful for the lessons and experience St. Louis Fashion Week has given me. I intend to partner with them and watch other up-and-coming designers' careers blossom."

ALIVE organizes fashion week to be a launching pad for local and regional talent. Designers will be showing their work in front of St. Louis' fashion elite, local media, boutique owners and luxury retailers, including Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus.

There's no fee to participate, and out-of-town designers get travel and lodging provided. All designers are matched with professional models, a hair and makeup team, and a seasoned team of dressers and stylists.

Fashion Week kicks off March 27. Designers will show their summer, spring and swimwear designs on April 25.

To apply, fill out this application by February 28.
