Crime scene last night.

It's been a violent few days in St. Louis.

Yesterday, we told you about Jermaine Johnson, a twenty-year-old who was shot in the face in north St. Louis and died on the scene. A few hours earlier, bullets hit three young teenage boys while they were walking down the street, sending them to the hospital in serious condition. Last night, a north county woman was shot and killed inside her home by a shooter in her driveway.

And now, we bring you news of another metro homicide that claimed the life a 21-year-old St. Louis man who was reportedly shot and killed while riding his motorcycle in the College Hill neighborhood.

Police found him at around 11 p.m. on the 2100 block of East Obear Avenue. When they arrived, they found him lying on his right side -- on his motorcycle. Officials say he had suffered gunshot wounds to the head and chest area and was unresponsive.

He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Douglas lived on the 3800 block of Nebraska Avenue, officials say.

Witnesses told police they had heard gunshots, but at this time, officials have no more details to offer about the ongoing investigation.

He is the 35th homicide victim in the city of St. Louis this year -- and the latest in the College hill neighborhood, which the metro police department has targeted as part of a "hot spot" initiative.

Douglas was not the only victim of gun violence last night in the city. A 24-year-old was shot while driving on North Kingshighway after midnight and is serious, but stable condition, according to metro police reports.

And in a separate incident, a seventeen-year-old suffered gunshot wounds when he was driving with two other teenagers on St. Louis Avenue. This victim is also in serious but stable condition.
