A sign for a restaurant called Binions ("Your Contemporary Restaurant") has gone up at 5917 Delmar Boulevard. This is the space formerly occupied by Lifestyles Cafe and, long before that, Happy Taco. I've yet to find info about this new place except what the sign says. (There didn't seem to be any working going on when I stopped by this afternoon.) Anyone know anything? I'll let you know what I learn.
Bissinger's: A Chocolate Experience is now open at 32 Maryland Plaza in the Central West End. It features desserts made with Bissinger's chocolate (naturally) by "Chocolate sommelier" Gretchen Morfogen. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Mon.-Wed., 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Thu.-Sat., and 12-5 p.m. Sun. Call 314-367-7750 for more information.
