Gerard Craft of Niche made the cut when the James Beard Foundation whittled the list of Best Chef: Midwest nominees -- a list that had also included Monarch's Josh Galliano -- to the finalists this morning.
The James Beard Foundation Awards take place May, 3 at Lincoln Center in New York City.
