When we last checked in with Luciano's Trattoria (172 Carondelet Plaza, Clayton; 314-863-9969), the restaurant was still working on repairs after a burst pipe in January forced its temporary closure.
Now, George Mahe of St. Louis Magazine reports that sibling owners Marc and Michael DelPietro have decided to shutter Luciano's. The restaurant's phone number is already disconnected.
What's more, Mahe reports, the DelPietros will also close another venture, Kilkenny's Irish Pub (20 North Central Avenue, Clayton; 314-725-0161), possibly to make way for another area location of Pickleman's Gourmet Cafe.
